Description

The biggest ski area in the Podhale region of southern Poland, at Białka Tatrzańska below the Tatra mountains, with modern lifts and thorough snowmaking. The terrain is mostly gentle and intermediate across a broad hillside, with well built learning areas, a snowpark and floodlighting on much of it. It is aimed squarely at families and improvers. The Podhale has a strong highlander culture with its own music, dress and timber architecture, and the thermal baths at Białka and Bukowina are a large part of why people come in winter. Zakopane is twenty minutes away and Kraków around two hours. Prices are among the lowest in Europe for this level of infrastructure.
