Liechtenstein
Malbun

Plan the trip
The only ski area in Liechtenstein, in a high valley at the eastern end of the country, and the place where the royal family and most of the population learned to ski. The terrain is compact and mostly gentle with a good learning area and enough intermediate ground for a few days, and it sits high enough for a reliable season.
The whole country is smaller than many ski areas, which makes it an unusual place to visit, and Vaduz with its castle and museums is twenty minutes away. It is quiet, well kept and family oriented. Zurich airport is around ninety minutes away.
