Mont Sutton

Plan the trip

A mountain in the Eastern Townships of Quebec with a reputation for glade skiing that goes back decades, and one of the largest networks of tree runs in eastern North America.

The terrain is laid out as a web of interconnecting trails rather than as distinct top to bottom runs, which makes it easy to wander and hard to get bored. Grooming is deliberately light in places.

Sutton village below is an attractive Townships settlement with galleries, a food scene and a strong Anglophone history.

Montreal is around ninety minutes away and the Vermont border is close, which brings visitors from both sides.
