A mountain area above the Kranj valley in Slovenia, twenty minutes from Ljubljana airport, which makes it one of the most conveniently placed ski areas in Europe.

The terrain sits high on an open ridge with a good snow record and mostly intermediate skiing, and the view across the Kamnik Alps and down onto the valley is the memorable part.

There is no village on the mountain. A cable car runs up from the valley and most people stay in Kranj or Ljubljana and travel out, which works well. Prices are moderate and the crowds are largely Slovenian. Lake Bled is around forty minutes away.
