OC Bjelašnica ZOI '84

Plan the trip
The mountain that held the men's alpine events of the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, half an hour from the city, and rebuilt steadily since the war.
The terrain is largely intermediate with a good vertical and a long descent, and the snow record here is better than most people expect of the Balkans. New lifts and snowmaking have been added over the past decade.
Prices are among the lowest in Europe for a resort of this size.
Sarajevo itself is worth several days at either end of a trip, and Jahorina on the other side of the city is on a separate ticket but easy to combine.
