Skiareál Klínovec

Plan the trip
The largest area in the Ore Mountains on the Czech side, on a broad rounded summit near the German border, and the main winter destination for a substantial part of Bohemia and Saxony. The terrain is mostly gentle and intermediate with modern lifts and extensive snowmaking, and there is a good snowpark. The mountain is linked by ski bus to Fichtelberg on the German side, which gives a bigger area on one ticket. Prices are among the lowest in Europe for a resort with this level of infrastructure, and that is the main reason people come from further afield. Karlovy Vary with its spa colonnades is around forty minutes away and worth a day.
