Plan the trip

Part of the Tres Valles above Santiago in the Chilean Andes, linked to La Parva and Valle Nevado, and reachable from the capital in around an hour and a half up a road of forty numbered hairpins.

The season runs from June to September, which is why northern hemisphere race teams train here. The terrain is high, treeless and sunny, with a good deal of gentle and intermediate runs and steeper ground higher up.

Farellones just below is the older village and has more life than the purpose built base. Santiago is close enough that a great many people ski here as a day trip. The Andes at this latitude are dry, so snow conditions vary more year to year than in the Alps. Check recent reports before committing.
