A mountain on the Grand Mesa in western Colorado, said to be the largest flat topped mountain in the world, with the runs dropping off the northern edge towards the Grand Valley.

The terrain is a good spread with gentle groomed runs and tree skiing, and the view out over the valley towards the Book Cliffs is the memorable part. It is small in lift count and quiet in a way the resorts on the interstate are not, and prices reflect that.

Grand Junction is around forty five minutes away, with the Colorado National Monument and the wine country of Palisade nearby, which makes for an unusual pairing.
