A ski area at Vrådal in Telemark, above the Nisser lake, and a year round destination with activities in both seasons.

The terrain is modest with a good spread for families, and the ski school teaches alpine, telemark, snowboard and cross country, which is a wider range than most Norwegian centres of this size offer.

There is a good deal of cabin and apartment accommodation around the area, and a golf course that operates in summer.

Telemark is the birthplace of the ski turn that carries its name, and the region has a strong tradition in the sport. Oslo is around three hours away.
