Banff Sunshine Village

Plan the trip
A ski area inside Banff National Park, ringed by the peaks of the Canadian Rockies. From the Standish viewing deck at the top you look down on three alpine lakes called Laryx, Grizzly and Rock Isle, with mountains in every direction. Sunshine Mountain Lodge stands up in the ski area itself. That means you can sleep where the snow is and be out before the day visitors arrive. It is the only lodging on the mountain and it fills early.
The Sunshine Super Card gives three free days that also work at Marmot Basin near Jasper and at Revelstoke, along with a discount on every other visit. If you plan to ski several places in the Rockies on one trip, that is where the sums should start.
