Plan the trip

The oldest ski area in the Canadian Rockies, on the mountain directly above Banff town, and the closest of the three areas on the Banff pass.

The terrain is compact with a genuinely steep face served by the North American chair, which has a reputation among locals, alongside gentler ground lower down.

Night skiing runs here, which neither Sunshine nor Lake Louise offer, and there is a via ferrata on the mountain in summer. Banff is five minutes away, which makes this the easy afternoon option in a week that also covers the bigger areas. The view down onto the town is excellent.
