Bjorli Skisenter

Plan the trip

Bjorli is often among the first ski areas in Norway to open. It sits at 575 metres at the top of the Gudbrandsdalen valley, right on the boundary with Romsdalen, in a pocket sheltered enough to make it one of the most snow sure places in southern Norway.

The train stops at Bjorli station a few minutes from the slopes, and the Rauma line and the E136 run past the door. There are few Norwegian ski areas where you manage this well without a car.

On the hill there are runs for every level, a children's area, ski school and rental at the base station, and Heiskroa when your legs need a pause. From here you reach the Troll Wall, the Romsdalen gondola at Åndalsnes and Dovrefjell in under an hour.
