Innlandet, Norway
Gålå

Plan the trip
A mountain area in Gudbrandsdalen that people have been travelling to for more than 130 years, in high open country with wide views and a long tradition as a place to rest rather than to be entertained.
The alpine terrain is modest, with four lifts and a spread of runs suited to families and beginners.
Cross country is the real strength, with an extensive network across the surrounding fells and a long season at this altitude.
Accommodation is cabins, apartments and a couple of mountain hotels. Lillehammer is an hour or so away and Oslo about three.
