Plan the trip

A small lift operation in the Sirdal valley in southern Norway, one of several in an area that serves Stavanger and the surrounding region as its winter playground.

The terrain is modest and suited to families and beginners, with a short vertical and a couple of lifts.

The value of a place like this is proximity rather than scale. Sirdal has a large concentration of cabins and the valley holds several other centres within a short drive, which together give more variety than any one of them alone.

The surrounding high country has an extensive cross country network. Stavanger is around two hours away.
