Valdres Alpinsenter

Plan the trip
The largest ski centre in Valdres, at Aurdal beside the Aurdalsfjord, with runs above a valley known for its cross country terrain and its cabins.
Most of the accommodation is ski in and ski out, and there are several places to eat both in the slope and nearby, which is unusual for a Norwegian centre of this size.
The terrain is modest and suited to families and improvers, with a good learning area. Valdres has a strong local food tradition and Beitostølen is around forty minutes away for a bigger hill. Oslo is roughly two and a half hours.
