A community run ski centre in Svandalen above Sauda in Ryfylke, western Norway, with the slogan that snow is for everyone. Sauda is an industrial town at the head of a fjord, with a working life outside tourism, and the Ryfylke region around it is fjord and mountain country. Stavanger is around two and a half hours away including a ferry crossing.
