49° North Mountain Resort
Plan the trip
A traditional Pacific Northwest mountain above Chewelah in Washington, with wide groomed runs, mogul fields and hundreds of acres of tree skiing that regulars talk about more than the pistes themselves. The snow falls dry here, and the resort calls it desert dried powder because humidity on this side of the range stays low. It is part of the Indy Pass, which makes it a natural stop on a tour of independent mountains in the northwest corner.
