Valais, Switzerland
Anzère

Plan the trip
A sun terrace high above the Rhône valley in Valais, facing due south. The view is much of the point, because the Bishorn, the Weisshorn, the Dent d'Hérens and Mont Blanc line up in front of you while you ski.
Fifty eight kilometres of piste cover every grade, served by twelve lifts, one of which takes foot passengers. There is also a cross country trail of 4.1 kilometres. The Magic Pass is valid here, which makes it one of the more affordable Swiss options if you ski several places over a winter.
The village is small with a car free centre and a well regarded spa. A place for sun, long views and quiet rather than a big night out.
