Brévent/Flégère (Chamonix)

Plan the trip
The sunny side of the Chamonix valley, facing directly across at Mont Blanc and the Bossons glacier, which is the finest view from any lift served terrain in the Alps.
Brévent is reached by cable car from the middle of Chamonix and Flégère from Les Praz, and the two are linked along the mountainside. The skiing is steeper than it looks from below, with genuine off piste and long descents, and it suits confident skiers best.
The Chamonix pass covers the whole valley including the Grands Montets and the Aiguille du Midi. Chamonix itself is a town rather than a resort, with a mountaineering history, good restaurants and a life outside the ski season. Geneva is roughly an hour away.
