Cranmore Mountain Resort
Plan the trip
A mountain right on the edge of North Conway in New Hampshire, one of the oldest ski areas in the country, and unusually convenient because the town is at the bottom of the hill.
The terrain is modest and mostly gentle with a good learning operation and night skiing, and it is aimed squarely at families.
North Conway is the main town of the Mount Washington valley with outlet shopping, restaurants and plenty of accommodation, and the bigger mountains in the area are all within half an hour. There is a tubing park and an indoor adventure centre for bad weather. Boston is around three hours away.
