Great Divide Ski Area

Plan the trip
A local mountain outside Helena in Montana, family run and deliberately affordable, and the sort of place that exists for the community around it rather than for visitors.
The terrain spreads across several faces with a good deal of variety for its size, including steeper pitches and tree skiing, and there is a terrain park and night skiing. Prices are among the lowest in the northern Rockies and the mountain is rarely busy.
Helena is around forty minutes away. This is a place to ski if you are passing through Montana and want a day without paying resort prices, rather than a destination in itself.
