A small local hill in eastern Idaho, about forty minutes from Idaho Falls, in the foothills below the Big Hole mountains. It has been the place people from that part of the state learn to ski for generations.

The terrain is modest and mostly intermediate, with a good beginner area and floodlit evening skiing several nights a week, which is when most of the local traffic arrives.

Prices are low and the queues are short. Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole are both within a couple of hours if you want a bigger mountain for a day, and the Yellowstone and Teton country north of here is the real reason many people are in the area.
