The biggest area in the American Midwest, on the north shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota, with terrain spread across four separate peaks linked by a gondola across a river valley.

The vertical is the biggest in the region and the runs are longer than anywhere else in the Midwest, with lake effect snow off Superior supplementing the snowmaking.

The view out over the lake, which looks like the sea, is the memorable part. The north shore around it is forest and rock country with the Boundary Waters inland. Duluth is around two hours away and Minneapolis about four and a half.
