Pico Mountain Resort

Plan the trip
A mountain in Vermont adjacent to Killington and under the same ownership, but run as a separate and much quieter operation.
It has a genuine top to bottom fall line with a good vertical, and the terrain is more classic New England than its larger neighbour, with narrower runs and a more old fashioned feel.
Because it takes the overflow rather than the crowds, Pico is often close to empty on days when Killington is busy, and the ticket prices are lower. It is open on a limited schedule in parts of the season, so check before planning. Rutland is fifteen minutes away.
