A mountain in southern Vermont that faces south, which is unusual in New England and gives it noticeably more sunshine and warmth than its neighbours. The terrain is mostly gentle and intermediate with thorough grooming, and it has long been a family mountain with a relaxed atmosphere and a loyal following.

There is an alpine slide and an adventure park that run in summer, which makes it a year round operation. Manchester nearby is an attractive Vermont town with outlet shopping and good restaurants. Boston is around three hours away and New York four.
