The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain

Plan the trip
A private members club on Haystack Mountain in southern Vermont, near Wilmington. There is no public access, no lift ticket to buy and no way to ski here as a visitor, since use of the mountain comes with membership.
The terrain is a genuine Vermont hill with a good deal of runs, and because the number of skiers is small the snow stays untracked for far longer than at a public resort.
This entry exists so that the mountain appears correctly in comparisons rather than so that anyone plans a trip around it. If you found it while looking at southern Vermont, Mount Snow next door is the one you can actually ski, with more terrain and a public lift system.
