Two linked areas on a high plateau above the Giffre valley, an hour from Geneva, and almost unknown outside the region.

The skiing is sunny, open and gentle, well suited to families and improvers, with an unusually good view of Mont Blanc for a resort this size and Nordic trails running across the plateau.

Chalets and apartments here rent for less than half what you would pay an hour away in the famous Haute Savoie names, which is the main reason people find it.

Evenings are very quiet. A dog sled outing and a fondue at one of the plateau restaurants is the shape of an evening. A family place rather than a group one.
