11er Neustift/Neder
Plan the trip
The Elfer above Neustift is the local mountain of the Stubai valley, and it sits opposite the glacier at the head of the valley. It is small, sunny and mostly used by people staying in Neustift who want a change from the ice.
The mountain is best known for its toboggan run, which is among the longest in the valley and is floodlit on certain evenings, and for a long descent back to the village when the snow is deep enough. The Stubai lift pass covers both this and the glacier, so it works as a day of variety rather than as a week on its own. Innsbruck is half an hour away, and the valley has guesthouses at prices below the Tyrolean average.
