Austria
Schlick 2000

Plan the trip
A compact area above Fulpmes in the Stubai valley, facing the glacier at the head of the valley, and covered by the same Stubai pass.
The terrain is steeper than its size suggests, with a good vertical and a long descent back to the valley, and it has a following among Innsbruck skiers who come for a quick day.
There is a well known panorama trail and a via ferrata on the mountain in summer, and the Kalkkögel peaks above it are among the more striking in Tyrol. Fulpmes is a working village known for its tool making, and Innsbruck is around twenty five minutes away by the Stubaitalbahn tram.
