The mountain above Silvaplana and Sils in the Upper Engadine, reached by cable car and rising to nearly 3300 metres, which makes it the highest lift served point in the region.

The Hahnensee run down towards St Moritz is one of the longest and best known descents in Switzerland, and the terrain up top is open glacier ground with reliable snow well into spring.

Corvatsch runs night skiing on Friday evenings on a long floodlit piste, which is unusual at this altitude and worth planning for.

It is on the Engadine pass with several other areas. Silvaplana below is known for windsurfing on the lake in summer.
