The mountain that Davos gave to the snowboarders. When the sport was banned almost everywhere else in the early years, Jakobshorn welcomed it, and it has kept a younger and more relaxed feel than the other Davos mountains ever since. It is reached by cable car from the middle of town and rises to 2590 metres, with sunny open terrain up high, good freeride ground and two mountain bars that are institutions in their own right.

The Davos Klosters pass covers six separate areas, so this is one option among several rather than a week on its own. Davos is a large working town rather than a pretty village, but the railway connections are excellent and the skiing across the whole pass is among the best in Graubünden.
