Parsenn

Plan the trip

Davos and Klosters share this area and they could hardly be more different. Davos is a large working town with clinics, congresses, a hospital and ordinary shops that happens to sit at 1560 metres. Klosters is a small discreet village with a long standing royal following.

Long sweeping descents run for kilometres down to villages in the valley, with a mountain railway to carry you back up. Confident intermediates get the most from it. Six separate areas share one pass, so decide which one you want each day rather than drifting between them. Accommodation runs from simple guesthouses to grand hotels. The descent to Küblis followed by the train back is the outing to plan for, dinner in Klosters is where the atmosphere is, and the spas are in Davos. Not a pretty village, but few places ski this well.
