Switzerland
Scuol Motta Naluns

Plan the trip
A Lower Engadine village of thick walled houses with painted facades, at the foot of a sunny mountain and on top of the largest mineral spring complex in Switzerland. The bath is at least half the reason people come, and late afternoon is the time for it.
The skiing is wide, quiet and well groomed with excellent sunshine, long descents and almost no queues. Beginner terrain is good and the area suits improvers particularly well. The pass also covers Ischgl over the border, which gives a big day out when you want one. Hotels and apartments are moderate for Switzerland. Come by rail if you can, because the journey up the Engadine on the Rhaetian Railway is part of the holiday rather than the cost of it.
