Le Collet d'Allevard

Plan the trip
A resort in the Belledonne range above Allevard, less than an hour from Grenoble, with the runs facing west across the Grésivaudan valley towards the Chartreuse. The terrain is wooded lower down and open above, climbing to just over 2100 metres, and it is mainly intermediate with a good learning area. Night skiing runs on certain evenings.
Allevard below is a thermal spa town with baths still in use and a settled French life. Prices are low, the crowds are local, and weekends fill with Grenoble traffic while midweek stays quiet.
