Les Karellis

Plan the trip
A small family resort in the Maurienne at 1600 metres, set in a larch forest beside the Lac de Pramol, and run on a cooperative model that keeps the prices low. The terrain climbs to 2500 metres with 34 runs, mostly gentle and intermediate, and the area is quiet even in French school holidays.
The resort is deliberately built around families and groups, with everything within walking distance and a strong emphasis on shared activities rather than nightlife.
It is one of the better value weeks in the French Alps, and the Maurienne valley below has a working life that has nothing to do with tourism. Saint Jean de Maurienne is on the railway.
