Norefjell

Plan the trip
The closest high mountain terrain to Oslo, under two hours away, with thirty runs and fifteen lifts spread across a hillside that drops most of a thousand metres to the valley floor. The vertical is the largest in eastern Norway and the terrain covers everything from wide green slopes to genuinely steep black runs, with three children's areas and two terrain parks.
There is a spa hotel and a good deal of apartment accommodation on the mountain, which makes it work as a weekend destination rather than only a day trip. The 1952 Olympic downhill was held here. Snow is reliable from December to April at the top.
