A ski area above the Reschen pass in the far north of South Tyrol, near the point where Italy, Austria and Switzerland meet, linked to Haideralm to form one area. The terrain is wide and sunny and largely intermediate with a good snow record from the altitude, and it stays very quiet compared with the Dolomite resorts further south.

Below it lies the Reschensee with the church tower standing out of the water, which is the image most people know from this valley. The area shares arrangements with Nauders over the Austrian border. Prices are moderate and the valley is German speaking farming country.
