Italy
Folgarida-Marilleva

Plan the trip
Two linked resorts on the Val di Sole side of the Brenta group in Trentino, joined by lift to Madonna di Campiglio, which gives a large shared area on one pass. The skiing is mostly intermediate with long descents through larch forest and good snowmaking, and the link over to Campiglio is a proper day out.
Marilleva is built on several levels and Folgarida is more of a village, and both are considerably cheaper than Campiglio over the ridge while sharing the same slopes. The Val di Sole below has a railway line, a strong local food tradition and the Stelvio national park at its head.
