The terrain is well groomed and mostly intermediate with strong beginner areas, and the whole plateau is aimed at families rather than at people chasing steeps.
The area is an official training base for the US Ski and Snowboard team, which says something about the snow quality and the preparation.
Folgaria is a working Trentino town with a Cimbrian linguistic heritage, and Trento and Rovereto are both within easy reach in the valley below.
