A mountain above Andalo in Trentino, with the runs on the western face looking down onto Lake Garda and the Brenta Dolomites standing opposite.

The skiing is mostly intermediate with long descents, a good vertical and thorough snowmaking, and the area has been steadily modernised over the past decade.

Andalo and Molveno below are family resorts with a lake, and Molveno has been voted the most beautiful in Italy more than once. Trento is around forty minutes away and the whole area is well set up for families, with prices below the Dolomiti Superski resorts further east.
