A ski area on the ridge between the Val di Fiemme and the Val di Fassa in Trentino, with Moena on one side and Bellamonte on the other.
The terrain is mostly intermediate with wide well groomed runs and a long descent, and the Le Cune sector at the top gives the best views across to the Pale di San Martino and the Latemar.
Alpe Lusia is part of Dolomiti Superski but sits away from the busy circuits, so the pistes stay quiet. The Val di Fiemme has a strong Nordic tradition and hosts World Cup cross country races, and the forests here supply tonewood for instrument makers.
