The American team trains here. Alpe Cimbra is an official training base for US Ski and Snowboard, and Ted Ligety, Tommy Ford, Mikaela Shiffrin, Lindsey Vonn and Alexis Pinturault have all worked these slopes, because the snow quality and the preparation hold up to it.
The Folgaria and Lavarone carousel in Trentino counts 104 kilometres and 50 runs across every grade. The 2025 and 2026 season opened a new gondola between Francolini and Sommo Alto.
There is more here than downhill. Cross country, touring, freeride, fatbiking and dog sledding all belong to the regular offering.
