A sunny area on the border between Tyrol and Bavaria above Waidring, with a plateau at the top that gives wide open skiing and long views north over the German foothills.

The terrain is mostly gentle and intermediate with excellent grooming and a strong beginner area, and the resort is built around families, with themed pistes and children's zones.

It is snow sure for its altitude because the plateau catches weather coming from the north, and the season is reliable.

Waidring is a working Tyrolean village and prices are moderate. Kitzbühel is around half an hour away and Salzburg an hour.
