Tamarack Resort

Plan the trip
A resort in the mountains of west central Idaho above Lake Cascade, opened in 2004 and the first entirely new destination resort built in the United States in more than two decades. The terrain gives over a thousand metres of vertical with long groomed descents, tree skiing and open bowl terrain higher up. The lift network is small in number but well placed, and the mountain is rarely busy.
The base has condos and a village that is still developing, and McCall a short drive away is a lake town with restaurants and hot springs nearby. Boise is around two hours away, and prices sit well below the better known Rocky Mountain resorts.
