Camelback Mountain Resort

Plan the trip
One of the busiest ski areas in Pennsylvania, in the Poconos within easy reach of both New York and Philadelphia, and built for volume.
The vertical is modest and the terrain is mostly gentle, with a large learning operation and one of the biggest snow tubing parks in the country. Floodlit evening skiing runs most nights.
Snowmaking does all the work here. There is a large hotel and an indoor waterpark at the base, which makes it a full family destination rather than purely a ski hill, and that is how most people use it.
Weekends are very busy and midweek is far calmer. Prices are lower midweek too.
