Windham Mountain Club

Plan the trip
A mountain in the Catskills of New York, around two and a half hours from New York City, and traditionally the quieter alternative to Hunter across the valley.
The terrain is a good spread with thorough grooming and extensive snowmaking, and the mountain suits families and improvers well. It has moved towards a membership model in recent years with limited public access, so check what is available before planning a trip.
Windham village below is a small Catskills settlement, and the surrounding forest preserve is protected by the state constitution, which keeps the area undeveloped.
